Traditions

It has become a tradition, maybe even a joke, that the kids get to open 1 gift on Christmas Eve and it is always new pajamas.  Then they wear those to bed and I am assured they will not be in the same jammies as last year for the scrapbook photos.  LOL!

Em doesn't care what hers look like, just that she has more pjs as these seem to be a staple in her at home wardrobe.  ; )

 

 

Bish was apparently displeased with his jammies -- he may not be completely clued in on the 1 gift trick of the evening and thought he was getting a toy.

Christmas time is here...

Breakfast with Santa

Em and BB are apparently too old to have breakfast with Santa now...

This makes me kind of sad.

 

Then there was a little decorating...

Everyone got involved this year.

And we had the preschool Christmas program and party which included yet another visit to Santa's lap.

Belated Bday

Brent had to work nights for his birthday. (AGAIN!!!  This is, like 3 of the last 4, but he makes the schedule so I won't complain.)  So we had a little cake and a couple of gifts for him when he finished, but his best gift is pictured below -- a group hug from his babies who miss him terribly when he works nights.

 

Thanksgiving

 

Both my little guys were Indians this year for Thanksgiving programs.

 

and Vay got to recite a Bible verse during the kindergarten Thanksgiving chapel service.
