summertime

Well, summertime started in a full sprint. The last day of school was May 27. Brent worked a week of nights + a late shift and a short Saturday beginning that same day. The holiday weekend rolled by just like any other weekend. That first week off school was for relaxing knowing what was ahead in the coming weeks, but the kids just about drove me crazy with their boredom. The first weekend of June was spent driving to a bday dinner for my dad (whoa- 60!), the next weekend started the summer softball schedule for Emma, then it was a road trip through Nashville for a wedding in Searcy. I got to go to Spencer's 13th bday celebration in addition to the festivities surrounding the wedding. The next weekend brought my dad, Judi, and my sister with her whole family to our house. It was tons of fun - we love having all those kids together. Then June was over. : )
