Guess who is taking ballet? She had asked to take ballet and I was searching for just the right place and time in the fall when the tree vs ankle thing happened. I counted it a blessing that I had not signed her up for a class that someone else would have to take her to for months on end. And I had not found this particular place -- it's very laid back in comparison to the others I'd looked at - no specific ballet uniform, make up classes available, no long commitment, reasonable prices - perfect!
Well, she walked in and had perfect form right from the beginning. Was there any doubt? She may end up being the only 6 ft 150 lb ballerina in history!
