The old laundry room -- it was the best basement laundry room ever. But with the house addition, we moved the laundry room upstairs where the majority of the laundry originates. So we had some decent unused space. Might as well turn it into more area for the kids to play.
We moved the wall back (you can see how much from the edge of the linoleum) and reused some of the kitchen cabinets and the old laundry room countertop to make me a small craft area. I have great plans for this area - including a gift wrap/ribbon dispenser on the wall. We'll see if that ever happens.
some new carpet (to match the other room-thank goodness it's still manufactured) and fresh paint and Voila!
toy paradise -- now if we can just get them to keep the toys in here instead of all over the house...
