
This is the top/bottom (the northern most part of the road, but also the part at the bottom of the 1.5 mile hill on which we live) of our road at the interstate overpass. There are a few factors that could be at play here - the sewer district emptying at this point (this is typical point) + the creek/swamp overflowing the road + the river could actually be over River rd merging with the risen creek water. Can't tell without a boat.

I took a picture from this same place last month but the waters had receeded. This picture was taken Tuesday and we are expecting more rain in the next couple of days. I'll try to get the final crest in a photo.

This photo is taken from the top carpool circle at school. The area in focus is the field where they have PE. You can see the road is also covered which didn't happen last month - only the field and lower carpool lane were flooded.
Again, I can't tell if the river is so far out of it's bank that it is merging in with this creek flooding or if it's just creek water at the moment. The people that live at the end of the road have moved their vehicles up by the school. Don't know what the fire dept that is also located there has done...surely moved out.
