Before school started, Brent gathered the big guys and headed out for a little trip. Sadly, high school had already started for Alanna, so only Nick could join the trip. Brent left early and headed to grab Nick. They took in the sights at Cumberland Falls, Mammoth Cave and the Corvette Museum.
Once returning home, it was time to kick it into high gear for the beginning of school. That meant 3 different "Back to School" events as well as checking off the school supplies shopping list and buying new shoes.
This year Vay and Bennett started at their new school, Christian Academy. They had each met some other students and the back to school event and therefore, the first day wasn't so daunting on the horizon.
As Vay lined up with her kindergarten class one thing was very obvious -- she was about a head taller than every other kid in her class.
And Bennett's new friend, named Ben, looks surprisingly similar to Bennett. Hope the teacher can keep them straight!
