Bennett's bday

I postponed putting Bennett's bday on because I was packing for my trip. Now I'm back.

Bennett is 8. It's kind of hard to believe.

Ah, the Star Wars Legos continue. This is Slave I, Boba Fett's ship. He completed building it basically one afternoon after school after sort of organizing things an hour or so on another afternoon.

And this picture is reminescent of Christmas with the dad checking out the kid's toy to see how to play with it himself.

Bennett requested a giant cookie cake, so that's what he got. It was tasty, but seemed richer in this size than in regular cookie size. I did my best without any guidance on what he wanted written on the giant cookie.

Seems like a lot of effort for one candle...
