How often does one hear a mother (of 4 no less) say she was happy with a week off from school because of snow? Well, we had a very nice week last week. We had 6-8" of snow and ice. The kids played outside with the neighbors everyday. It was wonderful. We also did NOT loose power this time. As the lights flickered multiple times Monday night and Tuesday, we just hoped... because we decided to not pay the builder's exorbitant price for a natural gas generator and hire someone later. (and I heard that the house we'd rented was without power -- and we probably could not have gotten down that huge hill to get out)We are still melting today as flurries are forecasted for tomorrow and Wednesday.

I bet you got a lot accomplished if everyone was home. Did Brent get to stay in as well?
